i remember everything. i take hour long showers and try to scrub it off my skin, but no matter how hard i scrub, it never seems to fade. the dirt. the repulsiveness. the fear. and sometimes i feel normal, and sometimes i just don't register anything, because i am too busy looking over my back, thinking something is there, trying to avoid being seen.
